Barbie will share her unique approach to embroidery, incorporating her signature stitch techniques and methods to help you create a one-of-a-kind design. Explore the connection between fine art textiles and functional objects as your sampler becomes the focal point of a beautiful bag project.

For more than 40 years, Barbie poured her heart into her quilting and embroidery shop—a place where fabric, thread, and creativity came together.

Known for her love of handwork and embellishment stitching, Barbie enjoys adding the special details that make every project unique. From intricate embroidery to richly layered wool appliqué, her work reflects a passion for craftsmanship and timeless design.

Teaching is at the heart of what she does. Barbie loves inspiring others to learn traditional textile arts, sharing not only the techniques but also the joy of creating beautiful pieces that can be treasured for generations.
