2. Sunny Skies Quilt by Tilda

This beautiful 2-Day intermediate-level workshop features a sunburst-style quilt from the “Something Blue” collection. This project is built in a 4 x 5 block layout, with each block divided into four quadrants, separated by sashing strips and centered with a small square.
You’ll enjoy a blend of traditional piecing and foundation paper piecing (FPP) for the sweeping central arcs—giving you the precision needed for crisp, radiant points.
Soft light and deep Tilda blues and whites are warmed with gentle touches of peach and terracotta from Poppyseed Basics, creating a palette that feels both timeless and fresh.
A satisfying, immersive workshop where skill-building and creativity come together in a beautifully balanced design.

Nubin made her first quilt in 1982 and has enjoyed sharing the quilting knowledge she has gained for the last two decades. She is well known for her creativity as well as the supportive and inspirational classroom environment she fosters.
She has taught at Empty Spools Seminars and other popular venues. She enjoys everything from dyeing textiles, embellishing quilts with embroidery, paper piecing, and printing on fabric, all the way to developing her own patterns.
Nubin divides her time between Arizona and Michigan.
