Getting Here
By Car:
Overnight guests should proceed directly to one of two Shepler's Ferry locations:
556 E. Central Avenue Mackinaw City, MI 49701 or 601 N State St, St Ignace, MI 49781
Once arriving at the dock, you will be guided through the unloading process and given instructions
on where to park.

By Plane:
Pellston Regional Airport ((PLN) is the closest airport to Mackinac Island. Shuttle Service is available
to and from Shepler’s Ferry dock. Check the schedule for the first and last ferry of the day.
​
To the Island:
Tell the porters at Shepler's Ferry you're staying at Mission Point and your luggage will be tagged and transferred directly to the hotel. Give your luggage tags to the hotel desk and your bags will be placed in your room.

Mackinac Island Carriage Tours:
Provides transportation from the dock to Mission Point Resort on a set schedule for Mission Point guests arriving on the island. 906-847-3323
